Organization Settings
Organization settings hold your company profile, the signatory shown in emails, your billing address, your regional settings and a summary of your subscription.
Accessing Settings
- Click Settings in the sidebar
- Select the Organization tab
- Make your changes
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the tab
Company Details

Your organization’s legal name.
- Displayed in the public portal
- Used in email communications
Contact Email
Primary email for your organization.
- Shown in the contact details of emails to data subjects
- Receives account notices, such as page allowance warnings
- Once billing is set up, changing it also updates your billing email in Stripe when you save
- Should be actively monitored
Contact Phone
Optional phone number. When filled in, it appears in the contact details of emails to data subjects.
Company Domain
Your website domain, for example example.com. The helper text reads “Used for public case portal (e.g., example.com)”. It is also shown as Website in the Email Branding summary under Notifications.
Email Signatory
The Email Signatory card sets the name and title shown at the end of emails to data subjects.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Signatory Name | For example “Jane Smith”. If blank, emails show your company team name |
| Signatory Title | For example “Data Protection Officer”. Shown below the signatory name |
| Sign-off Wording | For example “Kind regards,” or “Yours sincerely,”. If blank, emails use “Best regards,” |
Each field takes up to 100 characters.
Billing Address
Open Address Details in the Billing Address card to edit:
- Street Address and Address Line 2
- City
- Postal Code
- Country
- VAT Number (Optional)
Address Details
Your organization’s billing address, kept on your organization record. Saving an address change here does not send it to Stripe. The address on your invoices is the one entered with your payment details when you subscribe.
VAT Number
Optional. The helper text reads “For B2B reverse charge (EU businesses)”, for example IE1234567X. SAR Portal does not check the number when you save it, so make sure it is correct.
Regional Settings
The Regional Settings card holds Language, Time Zone, Country and the Handle cases across multiple jurisdictions switch. The Country here is the same value as the Country in the billing address. See Regional Settings and Jurisdiction for what each one does.
Subscription
The Subscription card shows your plan, a Trial chip during a trial, your subscription status and the plan’s user, case and storage limits. Click Manage Subscription to open the Billing page.
